   <description><![CDATA[NJ<br />09/11<br />Welcome Home David (DJ) Levanthal<br /><br />Main Rally Point<br />Rally @ 1730<br />Rita's Water Ice<br />47 West Main Street<br />Freehold, NJ 07728-2248<br /><br />Depart @ 1800 to pick up our Hero<br /><br />Secondary Rally Point (this will involve using the NJTP = $$)<br />Rally @ 1615<br />Depart @ 1630<br />Bob Evans Restaurant<br />601 Fellowship Road<br />Mt Laurel, NJ 08054-1170<br /><br /><span style="text-decoration: line-through;">Accepting applications for position of RC, apply within.</span><br />RC is Vance, thank you for stepping up brother.<br /><br />An email from Dad~<br /><br />My son’s name is SrA David-John Leventhal he is E-4.<br />He is a US Air Force Reserve EOD (Explosive Ordinance Device) Technician<br /><br />D-J entered the Army Reserve in December of 1999 and spent 8 years as a truck driver in the Army Reserve and was activated in January of 2003 and spent the next 7 months at Fort Dix awaiting deployment.<br /><br />In 2008 D-J left the Army for the Air Force Reserve and trained to become an EOD Tech.<br />While on active duty in the Air Force he worked security for President Bush numerous times in the US and in Europe.&nbsp;&nbsp;Also D-J worked security for the Pope in Washington DC.<br /><br />He is single, 28 years old and a graduate of Red Bank Catholic High School.<br />He attended Brookdale Community College in Lincroft NJ and Seton Hall University his Major was Criminal Justice.<br /><br />When not on active duty he is an instructor at the Warfare School at Joint Base McGuire- Dix-Lakehurst training Air Force personnel on what to look for , do and not do in regard to IEDs and other things.<br /><br />He has spent the last 6 months on active Duty with the 447th EOD Flight at Sather Air Base Bagdad, Iraq.<br />His hobbies are cars, motorcycles, skiing/snowboarding, DJing, photography, and computers.<br />He is involved in martial arts, while in School played football, wrestled and ran track and field events.<br /><br />D-J is pursuing a career in Law Enforcement but each time he has been up for interviews he has been on active duty.&nbsp;&nbsp;He is a lifelong Jersey Boy<br /><br />~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~<br />Wanted to get this out there, details will be up very soon.<br /><br />Rally time: TBD Approx 1730 at main rally point<br /><br />Rally location: TBD: close to Freehold, NJ<br /><br />We'll escort our Hero, DJ Levanthal,&nbsp;&nbsp;from his home to a restaurant where his family will enjoy a dinner in his Honor.]]></description>

Gentry has served 4 years active duty in the<br />USMC (served one Iraq deployment).&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong><span style="color: orange">His final day of service is Sept 4</span></strong>.&nbsp;&nbsp;We are<br />going to have a Celebration party for him and are working at getting the Warriors<br />Watch Riders to escort him to the venue at Caters 2 U in Mt Laurel.&nbsp;&nbsp;We were wondering<br />if your club could be there to recognize him with a Hero's welcome. <br /> <br /><strong><span style="color: orange">We have ridden with the WWR</span></strong> and attended one of the events where your club<br />was there.&nbsp;&nbsp;We ride with Riders of the Lamb.&nbsp;&nbsp;I'm not sure how to go about doing all this, but you gave us your card at this event and told us to contact you when he comes home.<br /> <br />Thanks for your help.<br /> <br />Sandee]]></description>

   <description><![CDATA[<div style="text-align: center"><span style="font-size: 18px;"><br />The <span style="color: red">Warriors'</span> Watch <span style="color: blue">Riders</span> <span style="color: yellow">3rd Annual Spring City Veterans Center BBQ</span></span><br />September 18, 2010 at:<br /><br />Southeastern Veterans Center<br />One Veterans Drive<br />Spring City, PA 19475<br />Phone: (610) 948-2400 <br />Website: <a href="http://www.sevc.state.pa.us">http://www.sevc.state.pa.us</a> </div><br /><br />Those of you who participated in our previous events will recall and will not forget the veterans who reside at and/or use the facility; many of them from wars half a century ago.&nbsp;&nbsp;The smiles that were generated will not soon be forgotten by the staff, by you, by me.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />We will need volunteers for different tasks.&nbsp;&nbsp;<span style="color: yellow">Approximately 200 residents/patients will be partaking of the event to include those that we served individually in their respective rooms.</span><br />We will need supplies to feed approximately 200 residents/attendees plus WWR personnel. <br /><br /><span style="color: yellow"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Tally of supplies/tasks:</span></span><br />paper goods, tables &amp; chairs - <span style="color: orange">Vet Center </span><br />ice cream &amp; cole slaw - <span style="color: orange">Lou (Lengua) &amp; Cheryl</span><br />hot dogs &amp; buns - <span style="color: orange">(200 hds &amp; buns) Maria</span><br />hamburgers &amp; buns - <span style="color: orange">Jim (Liftlink) 200 burgers, Pete (Fungi) 200 buns</span><br />mustard &amp; ketchup - <span style="color: orange">Jane (Calamity)</span><br />potato salad and/or macaroni salad - <span style="color: orange">Fatboy and American Dreamer</span><br />beverages* - <strong><span style="color: red">?</span></strong><br />(a keg of birch beer has been handy in the previous BBQ's)<br />heavy duty trash bags - <span style="color: orange">Jane (Calamity)</span><br />*grilling/serving/policing - <span style="color: orange">Charlie (Ducttape), Dennis (DJolly), Stephan (IronButt)</span><br /><br />*Though a name may be attached to a specific task such as serving &amp; policing, as in the past, we all chip in, relieve each other and police after ourselves.<br /><br />Myself and the setup crew (TBD) will be at the center no later than 11:00 AM; residents need to be fed starting at noon.&nbsp;&nbsp;We need someone to step up and RC the main rally point &amp; others to set-up secondary points.
