...for representing the WWR so faithfully. The following letter is from the grateful father of Andrew DeJong, from Plainfield, Il.
Rick,
I think one of the things tonight that spoke most deeply to me was the personal expressions from each of the Warrior Watch Riders. There was a genuineness in the expressions of support that really spoke to me. There is a bond among and with the riders... people who understand the emotion and sacrifice.
So in addition to gratitude for the overwhelming show of support, the fantastic ride and escort, the words of appreciation and commendation... I am grateful to you and the riders for the personal expressions of care for Andrew and our family.
Personally, I am thankful that you sacrificed the time to prepare, advertise and carry out this ride in honor of our son. That means a lot Rick, and tonight I thank the Lord for the gift you gave him, and our family.
Blessings, Fred
...feel free to pass this on to the Warrior Watch Riders too
"Beware of practicing your righteousness before men to be noticed by them; otherwise you have no reward with your Father who is in heaven. Therefore when you do merciful deeds, don't sound a trumpet before yourself, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may get glory from men. Most certainly I tell you, they have received their reward." Matthew 6:1-2
