Major Kennedy is scoping out Bethesda Naval Hospital in Maryland. One of the young wounded men at our Walter Reed trip was visiting from Bethesda in his wheelchair - he said that "nothing like this," meaning our BBQ, ever happens at Bethesda.
We are tentatively looking at September 25 as the date for a trip to Bethesda.
Mark your calendars, if you missed the first trip you have a second chance.

"Beware of practicing your righteousness before men to be noticed by them; otherwise you have no reward with your Father who is in heaven. Therefore when you do merciful deeds, don't sound a trumpet before yourself, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may get glory from men. Most certainly I tell you, they have received their reward." Matthew 6:1-2

When we went to Walter Reed, Brit brought along Tshirts as a little gift for the Wounded Warriors. they were Tshirts w/ pictures of motorcycles on them, not necessarily military shirts, just nice Tshirts w/ cool bikes.
Sometimes they get tired of all the military gear, ya know? just a thought, if we all bought a few to hand out. it was just nice to have a little gift to give our Heroes... what do you think?
Marine Mom: I may look harmless, but I raised a Marine. (two Marines actually)
